Steelrod was the brains! Let me drive 150 miles and didn't even tell me he passed away before I got there! Couldn't do a simple peak n tune and couldn't do a simple fix to a Texas Star HD! Save ur money and go to Dubbs in Illinois! Look him up or mail ur big money rig to Bells CB Shop in Florida, its all on you tube for you to see! I wouldn't take a 23 Chanel mic to get wired here anymore! GOD BE WITH YOU MRS. STEELROD! Hope the guys don't ruin ur hubbies many years of reputation! I would make a 300 mile round trip for SRod any day of the week!

Don't let the other recent rewiews fool you , the staff here are very friendly and experienced, had my K-40 K 30 antenna whip for my four wheeler tuned in minutes, affordable costs, I will be coming back, thank you guy's at Steel Rods!!!
Went there to get a radio fixed, they told it's worth it the cost would be like buying a new one . So I said what the hell I'll upgrade to a radio I wanted for a long time. Well they wired me up for the DX 98VHP . Well it did not last long at all, sometimes the signal drops in an out. Took it to another shop he couldn't figure it . Because I didn't trust anyone with the radio I watch him . Well I was down Houston yesterday went to another shop. An sure he found it they took a chip out an put some other chip in two of three of legs were solder . So he brought out a brand new radio to what belongs there an showed what they did . He said that the in there don't belong to this radio . Wow I say. So I say DON'T GO THERE FOR NOTHING. .... THANKS GUYS FOR BLOWING MY TRUST.. I GUESS THEY SEEN A SUCKER WALKING IN . OH YEAH AS FOR MY OTHER RADIO COST ME $ 40.00 TO GET IT FIXED. THANKS STEEL ROD'S I'LL DO MY HOMEWORK FROM NOW ON. .
